Food Service Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Operations Manager to join our team at 3 Dreams Trading Ltd. as a Restaurant Supervisor. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that all aspects of food preparation, presentation, and service meet the highest standards of quality and excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Operations Management: Establish and implement efficient methods to meet work schedules, ensuring that all tasks are completed on time and to a high standard.
- Staff Supervision: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, providing guidance and support as needed to ensure that all tasks are completed to a high standard.
- Training and Development: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, ensuring that all employees are equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary to perform their roles effectively.
- Inventory Management: Estimate ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation, ensuring that all necessary items are stocked and available when needed.
- Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, identifying and addressing any issues or concerns in a timely and effective manner.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights and data to inform business decisions.
- Mentorship Programs: Provide mentorship programs that pair newcomers and/or refugees with experienced employees, promoting cultural understanding and exchange.
- Diversity and Inclusion: Offer diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and/or refugees, fostering a culture of inclusivity and respect.
- Mentorship and Coaching: Provide mentorship, coaching, and networking opportunities for Indigenous workers, supporting their career development and growth.
- Cultural Competency: Offer cultural competency training and awareness sessions for all employees, promoting a deeper understanding and appreciation of Indigenous cultures and perspectives.
- Work Environment: Create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers, free from bias and discrimination, and where their unique perspectives and experiences are valued and respected.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years
- Work Language: English
- Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week
