This position is responsible for overseeing the galley operations for a crew of 5 – 7 crew members, ensuring the provision of healthy meals and meeting the dietary needs of the crew. The ideal candidate will have two (2) years of experience in a relevant field, such as food service management or culinary arts.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the galley inventory and ordering of provisions

• Prepare and serve healthy meals to the crew

• Maintain a clean and safe galley environment

• Assist with deck operations as needed, including training on deck equipment and procedures

Requirements

• Marine Emergency Duties (MED) A1 certification

• Current Standard First Aid and CPR certification

• Valid Transport Canada Marine Medical certification

• WHMIS certification

• Valid Passport with the ability to enter the US

• Valid driver's license
