Job Title: User Support Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled User Support Technician to join our team at VAXSTREAM CORPORATION.

Job Summary

The User Support Technician will provide technical assistance and support to users experiencing difficulties with computer systems, network, and internet connectivity. The successful candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills, be able to work independently, and have a strong understanding of computer systems and network protocols.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support to users via phone, email, or in-person
  • Research and implement solutions to technical issues
  • Provide training and guidance to users on computer systems and software
  • Collect and maintain a problems and solutions log for use by other technical support analysts
  • Supervise and mentor junior technical support staff
  • Perform Web-server backup and recovery operations
Requirements
  • College diploma or equivalent experience
  • 1-2 years of experience in a technical support role
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong understanding of computer systems and network protocols
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Working Conditions

The User Support Technician will work in a fast-paced technical environment, providing support to users in a variety of settings. The successful candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, and will have a strong commitment to providing excellent customer service.

The primary language of work is English.

Hours of Work

The User Support Technician will work 37.5 hours per week.
