We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Branch Director to lead our sales and business operations in a branch within the distribution division. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for planning, directing, and leading all sales and business operations to achieve profitability and growth.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Oversee the activities of personnel to ensure efficient operation of the branch
* Act as a sales leader for the branch, servicing major accounts and pursuing new business opportunities
* Lead a team of sales and operations staff to maximize profits and ROI
* Execute strategies to increase sales, improve operating efficiencies, and manage assets to achieve business targets
* Hire and develop employees to create a high-performance team focused on customer service, sales, and operations
* Safeguard and maintain all branch assets, including building, fleet, equipment, inventory, and receivables
* Identify new markets, increase market share, and improve margins
* Conduct business in accordance with company policies and procedures
* Maintain a safe working environment
* Provide regular reports to head-office
**Requirements:**
* A college degree in a business, marketing, or related field
* Seven years of relevant experience in sales, sales management, or branch management in a business-to-business sales environment
* Understanding of financial statements
