Job Summary:

This role oversees all sales and business operations within a branch, driving profitability and growth. The ideal candidate will lead a team of sales and operations staff to maximize profits and ROI.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee branch activities to ensure efficient operation.
  • Act as a sales leader, servicing major accounts and pursuing new business.
  • Lead a team of customer service, sales, and warehouse employees, coaching and inspiring them to achieve excellence.
  • Execute strategies to increase sales, improve operating efficiencies, and manage assets to achieve ROI and bonus targets.
  • Hire and develop employees to create a high-performance team focused on customer service, sales, and operations.
  • Safeguard and maintain branch assets, including building, fleet, equipment, inventory, and receivables.
  • Identify new markets, increase market share, and margins.
  • Conduct business in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain a safe working environment.
  • Provide monthly and ad-hoc reports to head-office.
  • Foster excellence in customer and employee satisfaction.
  • Participate in annual budget setting and ensure adherence and follow-up throughout the year.

Requirements:

  • A college degree in a business, marketing, or related field.
  • Seven years of relevant experience in sales, sales management, or branch management in a business-to-business sales environment focusing on small and medium-sized businesses.
  • Understanding of financial statements.
