About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Site Supervisor to join our team at Onex Construction. As a key member of our site operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects, ensuring they meet the required specifications, timelines, and budgets.
  • Site Supervision: Supervise and coordinate the activities of site personnel, including laborers, tradespeople, and subcontractors, to ensure efficient and safe working practices.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular site inspections to ensure that work is being carried out to the required standards, and identify and address any quality issues promptly.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure that all site personnel are aware of and comply with health and safety regulations, and take steps to prevent accidents and injuries.
  • Communication: Liaise with project managers, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure that projects are delivered on time and to the required standards.
  • Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve any issues that may arise during the construction process, and take steps to prevent similar problems from occurring in the future.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a construction-related role
  • Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, ability to work under pressure, and a commitment to health and safety.
