Hotel Operations Manager
We are seeking a highly skilled Hotel Operations Manager to join our team at Days Inn by Wyndham Kingston. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our hotel, ensuring that all aspects of the business run smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the work of hotel staff, including front desk, housekeeping, and maintenance personnel.
- Assist guests with special needs and ensure that their stay is comfortable and enjoyable.
- Coordinate and review work assignments, ensuring that tasks are completed on time and to a high standard.
- Hire and train new staff members, providing guidance and support to help them develop their skills and knowledge.
- Maintain the operation of computer systems, equipment, and machinery, arranging for repairs and maintenance as needed.
- Requisition materials and supplies, ensuring that the hotel has everything it needs to operate effectively.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as hospitality or business.
- 3-5 years of experience in a supervisory or management role, preferably in the hotel industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, guests, and other stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of attention to detail and a strong focus on customer service.
