Commercial Lines Insurance Broker

Our Mississauga-based client is currently seeking a polished and professional Commercial Lines Insurance Broker. You will be responsible for handling clients' files and maintaining retention targets regularly.

Overview:

  • Attain premium growth by recommending appropriate coverages and new business.
  • Acquire expiry dates at policy renewals and explore leads for potential new business.

Experience required in Manufacturing, Construction, E&O and D&O, large auto fleets, and other lines of Commercial Insurance. Realty experience is a bonus.

Responsibilities:

  • Cross sell and up-sell coverages and new business.
  • Bind accounts/coverage with insurer.
  • Maintain relationships with underwriters for new business growth and retention.
  • Navigate through Microsoft and insurance software.

Qualifications:

  • Valid RIBO license.
  • Commercial lines insurance experience.
  • Experience with mid-market accounts.
  • Up-to-date CE Credits.
  • CIP, FCIP, or CAIB designation preferred.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Experience with insurance portals and TAM/Epic.
