About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Taj Grace Of India. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and presentation of our dishes, ensuring that they meet the highest standards of quality and presentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies to maintain a well-stocked inventory.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively.
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, ensuring that we have the necessary resources to meet demand.
  • Hire food service staff to ensure that we have a skilled and motivated team.
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Establish work schedules to ensure that the kitchen is running smoothly and efficiently.

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, standing for extended periods and working under pressure.
  • Physical demands of the job include standing for extended periods, lifting, and bending.
