About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Kitchen Manager to join our team at Taj Grace Of India. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our kitchen, ensuring that our high standards of quality and service are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies to maintain optimal inventory levels and minimize waste.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure seamless meal preparation and service.
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, ensuring that we have the necessary resources to meet demand.
  • Hire and manage food service staff, providing feedback and coaching to support their growth and development.
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Establish work schedules to ensure adequate staffing levels and efficient kitchen operations.
Work Environment

As a Kitchen Manager at Taj Grace Of India, you will work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of pressure to meet deadlines and maintain quality standards. You will be required to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks.

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and provide guidance and support to staff.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures.
  • Ability to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
