About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef and Restaurant Manager to join our team at Taj Grace of India Restaurant Ltd. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our kitchen and ensuring that our high standards of quality and service are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Quality Control: Develop and implement menus, manage food inventory, and oversee food preparation to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Staff Management: Supervise and train kitchen staff, including chefs, cooks, and dishwashers, to ensure they are working efficiently and effectively.
  • Inventory Management: Manage kitchen inventory, including food, supplies, and equipment, to minimize waste and optimize resources.
  • Customer Service: Ensure that all customers receive excellent service and that their needs are met in a timely and professional manner.
  • Health and Safety: Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations and guidelines.
  • Financial Management: Manage kitchen budgets, including labor costs, food costs, and supplies, to ensure that we are operating within our means.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role, or equivalent experience.
  • Skills: Excellent culinary skills, strong leadership and communication skills, ability to work under pressure, and a commitment to quality and customer service.
