**Job Summary**

At AppleOne, we are seeking a highly skilled Health and Safety Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing safety strategies, enforcing safety policies and procedures, and ensuring a safe working environment for all employees.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Develop and implement effective safety strategies to minimize risks and hazards in the workplace
  • Conduct regular audits and training sessions to ensure compliance with safety regulations and policies
  • Investigate and report on incidents, near-misses, and accidents
  • Manage the WHMIS/SDS database and ensure accurate and up-to-date information
  • Lead the Joint Health and Safety Team and facilitate safety initiatives and projects
  • Perform other duties as required to support the success of the organization

**Requirements**

  • 3-5 years of experience as a Health and Safety Specialist or Coordinator
  • Manufacturing/distribution experience is required
  • Relevant education and certifications
