Job Title: Construction Painter

We are seeking a skilled Construction Painter to join our team at Terry Pro Painters Ltd.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing, cleaning, and painting surfaces to a high standard. This includes repairing cracks and holes, advising clients on colours and wall coverings, and erecting scaffolding and swing stages.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare, clean, and sand surfaces to be painted
  • Repair cracks and holes in walls and ceilings
  • Advise clients on colours and choice of wall coverings
  • Erect scaffolding and swing stages as required
  • Apply paint, wallpaper, and other materials to interior and exterior surfaces
  • Estimate costs and materials for painting projects
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience in painting and decorating an asset
  • Ability to work at heights and in outdoors environments
  • Physically demanding work, requiring bending, crouching, and kneeling
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with drywall taping and patching
  • Knowledge of sign painting and multi-color finishes
  • Ability to distinguish between colours and attention to detail
Work Environment:

Our team works in various locations, including outdoors and at heights. We require our Construction Painter to be flexible and willing to travel.
