Key Responsibilities:- Surface Preparation: Prepare, clean, and sand surfaces to be painted.
- Repair and Maintenance: Repair cracks and holes in surfaces.
- Colour Consultation: Advise consumers on colours and choice of wall coverings.
- Equipment Operation: Erect scaffolding and swing stages, and attach rigging.
- Painting and Finishing: Apply paint, wallpaper, and other materials and finishes to interior and exterior surfaces.
- Estimation and Planning: Estimate costs and materials for painting projects.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: Experience an asset.
- Work Environment: Outdoors, at heights, and with odours.
- Work Setting: Various locations.
- Physical Demands: Bending, crouching, kneeling, and physically demanding work.
- Weight Handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
- Tools and Equipment: Own tools and steel-toed safety boots.
- Personal Suitability: Efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, initiative, reliability, and a team player attitude.
- Permanent Work: A permanent position with a reputable company.
- English Language: Work in English.
- Hours of Work: 30 to 40 hours per week.
