Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Environmental Assessment Specialist to join our team at Dillon Consulting. As a key member of our environmental services group, you will be responsible for leading the scoping, development, and execution of environmental permitting and project approval programs.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement environmental assessment and permitting strategies for various projects, including natural resource, municipal, land development, and infrastructure projects.
  • Collaborate with staff across Canada to deliver projects, develop client relationships, and identify business opportunities.
  • Lead the preparation of regulatory applications and submissions, including environmental impact assessments and mitigation measures.
  • Conduct public, stakeholder, and Indigenous engagement and consultation to ensure effective project delivery.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with government agencies, clients, and stakeholders to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and policies.
Requirements
  • University degree or post-undergraduate college diploma in a relevant environmental, physical science, or engineering related discipline.
  • Minimum of 8 years of demonstrated professional experience in environmental consulting, industrial, regulatory, or academic setting or related field.
  • Valid driver's license (Class 5).
  • Excellent communication and report writing skills.
  • Proficiency in English. Working knowledge of French would be considered an asset.
