About the Role
Dillon Consulting is seeking a highly skilled Environmental Assessment Specialist to join our team. As an Environmental Assessment Specialist, you will play a key role in leading the scoping, development, and execution of environmental permitting and project approval programs.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development of environmental assessments, registration documents, and compensation/offsetting plans for various projects.
- Collaborate with staff across Canada to deliver projects, develop client relationships, and identify business opportunities.
- Scope, plan, develop, and implement field programs for natural resource, municipal, land development, and infrastructure projects.
- Liaise with clients, government agencies, and stakeholders to ensure project compliance and success.
- Contribute to the development of staff, including technical direction, training recommendations, coaching, and mentoring.
Requirements
- University degree or post-undergraduate college diploma in a relevant environmental, physical science, or engineering related discipline.
- Minimum of 8 years of demonstrated professional experience in environmental consulting, industrial, regulatory, or academic setting.
- Valid driver's license (Class 5)
- Excellent communication and report writing skills.
- Proficiency in English. Working knowledge of French would be considered an asset.
