Job Overview
This is a full-time temporary position with an annual salary range of $93,671 - $110,063, prorated to the duration of the assignment. The successful candidate will work as part of a multidisciplinary team, providing clinical support and services to students and staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing individual and group counseling/psychoeducation to students in grades 7-12
- Liaising with community resources to facilitate pathways to service
- Responding to crisis situations and assessing suicide risk
- Engaging in data collection, research, and report writing
- Providing professional development to school staff, students, and parents
Qualifications and Experience
- A Master's degree in Social Work
- Membership in the College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in providing clinical services to youth
- Knowledge of evidence-based treatment approaches in mental health and addiction
- Superior knowledge base in community-based addictions services
