Job Description

As a Mental Health Therapist with our Employee & Family Assistance Program (EFAP), you will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver seamless services and programs to our clients and customers.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering EFAP services, including confidential counseling, case management, direct clinical services, and assessments.
  • Receiving case assignments, establishing treatment plans, and completing case progress notes.
  • Developing service plans that outline specific actions for each client under periodic supervision.
  • Providing after-hours crisis call services on a rotating basis.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
  • A valid registration with the relevant governing body.
  • A minimum of 3 years of counseling experience.
  • Experience in brief solution-oriented counseling.
  • Knowledge of assessment, crisis management, and EFAP services is an asset.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Awareness and understanding of measurement-based care principles are beneficial.
