Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Parts Counter Clerk to join our team. As a key member of our sales and inventory team, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, managing inventory, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
Key Responsibilities- Customer Service: Answer customer inquiries, provide product information, and resolve issues in a professional and courteous manner.
- Inventory Management: Receive, unpack, and sort incoming parts and supplies, and maintain accurate records on inventory control systems.
- Parts Sales: Sell spare and replacement parts to customers, and provide recommendations on products and services.
- Warehouse Operations: Store items in a warehouse, tool room, or supply area, and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Administrative Tasks: Process incoming requisitions, prepare and track work orders, and maintain records on inventory control systems.
- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and attention to detail.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 45 kg (100 lbs), stand for extended periods, and work in a dusty and noisy environment.
This is a permanent, full-time position with a 39-40 hour workweek. The work environment is fast-paced and physically demanding, with a focus on customer service and inventory management.
