About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team at Shyam Investments Inc. As an Accounting Clerk, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, and performing various accounting tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Accounting Tasks: Perform various accounting tasks, including reconciliations, journal entries, and account analysis.
  • Payroll Processing: Assist with payroll processing, including preparing paycheques and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare financial reports for management, including variance analysis and trend analysis.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in accounting or a related field.
  • Skills: Proficient in MS Excel, MS Word, and QuickBooks.
