Parts Counter Clerk

Cummings Small Engine Service is seeking a skilled Parts Counter Clerk to join our team. As a key member of our sales and inventory team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing inventory, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
Key Responsibilities- Customer Service: Answer customer inquiries, resolve issues, and provide product recommendations to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Inventory Management: Receive, unpack, and sort incoming parts and supplies, maintain accurate inventory records, and process requisition orders to replenish stock.
- Sales and Merchandising: Sell spare and replacement parts, set up displays of retail parts and accessories, and advise customers on the use and appropriateness of goods or parts.
- Administrative Tasks: Perform general office duties, maintain records on inventory control systems, and prepare and track work orders.
- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
The ideal candidate will be able to work in a dusty, noisy, and physically demanding environment with occasional exposure to odors. The ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 45 kg (100 lbs), and work under pressure is essential.
