We are seeking a skilled Loader Operator to join our Winter Maintenance team at Colas. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining a variety of heavy equipment, including skid steers and front end loaders.
Key Responsibilities- Operate and maintain heavy equipment, including skid steers and front end loaders
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment and complete maintenance records
- Assist in winter operations and provide support as needed
- 1-2 years' experience operating heavy equipment, particularly with a loader
- G License and clean driving abstract
- Ability to work assigned shifts, and extended hours (evenings, weekends, nights, and holidays) as winter events require
- Willingness to work in extreme weather conditions
- Mechanically inclined
