About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Loader Operator to join our Winter Maintenance team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining a variety of heavy equipment, including skid steers and front end loaders.

Your primary focus will be on ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our equipment, as well as performing routine maintenance tasks to ensure optimal performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain heavy equipment, including skid steers and front end loaders
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including fluid level checks and minor repairs
  • Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment and complete maintenance records
  • Assist in winter operations as needed
Requirements
  • 1-2 years' experience operating heavy equipment, particularly with a loader
  • G License and clean driving abstract
  • Ability to work assigned shifts, and extended hours (evenings, weekends, nights, and holidays) as winter events require
  • Willingness to work in extreme weather conditions
  • Mechanically inclined
