Burnham Mansion Animal Hospital is seeking a reliable and caring Veterinary Client Experience Coordinator to join our team. This casual, part-time opportunity involves a range of responsibilities that contribute to the efficient daily operation of the hospital. Your primary responsibility is to ensure our clients and their pets feel welcomed and expertly cared for.

Key Responsibilities and Attributes:

  • Willingness to learn about veterinary services and updated medical office procedures
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to create a welcoming environment
  • Ability to adapt to changing situations and create a positive, low-stress atmosphere for clients and patients
  • General housekeeping duties, including cleanliness of reception area, pet holding areas, and common areas
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to take initiative in carrying out assignments independently
  • Client care responsibilities, including answering a multiline phone system and tracking and booking appointments effectively
  • Responding and managing email correspondence with clients, referring veterinarians, and internal office messages
  • Admitting and discharging pet patients
  • Invoicing and billing, including creating estimates, obtaining pet owner confirmation, and processing payments
  • Veterinary Assistant (VA) or Veterinary Office Assistant (VOA) program certificate is an asset
