Veterinary Client Experience Specialist

At VCA Canada, we are seeking a dependable and caring Veterinary Client Experience Specialist to join our team at Burnham Mansion Animal Hospital. This role is responsible for ensuring our clients and their pets feel welcomed, expertly cared for, and appreciated.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the veterinary staff with various tasks and treatments, including learning about veterinary services and updated medical office procedures.
  • Provide excellent customer service skills, creating a welcoming environment for clients and their pets.
  • Adapt to changing situations, creating a positive and low-stress atmosphere for our clients and patients.
  • Perform general housekeeping duties, maintaining the cleanliness of reception areas, pet holding areas, and common spaces.
  • Organize and prioritize tasks independently, taking initiative to complete assignments efficiently.
  • Manage client care responsibilities, including answering phone calls, tracking appointments, and responding to email correspondence.
  • Process payments, create estimates, and obtain pet owner confirmation.
  • A Veterinary Assistant (VA) or Veterinary Office Assistant (VOA) program certificate is an asset.
