Perenti Group, a leading global mining services company, is seeking a highly experienced Maintenance Foreperson to join our team at Barminco Mining Services Canada Ltd.

The Opportunity

This is a unique opportunity to work with a world-class organization, operating in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. As a Maintenance Foreperson, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient maintenance of mine mobile equipment, while minimizing costs and maximizing production.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise maintenance personnel to ensure compliance with safety protocols and procedures
  • Develop and implement maintenance strategies to reduce risks and variations
  • Oversee maintenance schedules and repairs for all mining equipment
  • Mentor and guide team members to improve performance and develop skills
  • Ensure department compliance with all policies, procedures, and statutory requirements
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Technical diploma or degree in Maintenance/Mechanics field
  • Valid Mechanical/Trades Licenses
  • Minimum 10 years of mine maintenance experience (underground and surface equipment)
  • Minimum 5 years in a maintenance supervisory role with experience mentoring and developing teams
  • Experience in conventional and mechanized mining
  • Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP and or Pronto
  • Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills
  • Ability to work in a cross-cultural environment
