About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and efficiency of maintenance operations, supervising a team of maintenance personnel, and implementing cost-effective maintenance strategies to maximize production capability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise maintenance personnel to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Mentor and guide team members to improve performance and develop skills
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules and repair plans for mining equipment
  • Ensure departmental compliance with statutory requirements and industry standards
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A technical diploma or degree in Maintenance/Mechanics field
  • Valid Mechanical/Trades Licenses
  • Minimum 10 years of mine maintenance experience, including underground and surface equipment
  • Minimum 5 years in a maintenance supervisory role with experience mentoring and developing teams
  • Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP and/or Pronto
  • Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills
