About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Nurse to lead our Community Nursing Team at Bayshore HealthCare. As a seasoned healthcare professional, you will be responsible for providing direct client care, guiding a team of care providers, and building relationships with clients and caregivers in the community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Care: Provide hands-on nursing care to clients in their homes, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise, support, and mentor a team of caregivers to deliver high-quality care and promote a positive work environment.
  • Community Outreach: Build partnerships with community organizations and promote Bayshore's innovative approach to home care.
  • Human Resources: Coordinate recruitment, selection, orientation, training, discipline, and performance reviews of neighborhood health team members.
About You

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Nurse with a strong background in community nursing principles and practices. You should have at least five years of recent experience with progressive responsibilities, preferably in a community setting.

You must possess excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to handle difficult situations objectively, and above-average report writing and communication skills. A Graduate of an accredited Provincial Nursing Program with current registration in good standing and valid CPR certification is required.
