Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Plant Operations Manager to join our team at Holcim. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the safe and efficient operation of our concrete batch plant, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products to our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Health and Safety: Demonstrate a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment, adhering to safety policies and procedures, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Batching Operations: Schedule concrete deliveries, provide pricing to customers, order raw materials as required, and ensure accurate batching to produce high-quality products.
  • HR/Coaching & Mentoring: Foster a positive and productive work environment, provide coaching and guidance to employees, and ensure effective communication with the team.
  • Environmental Compliance: Demonstrate a commitment to environmental excellence, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and implementing sustainable practices.
  • Reporting and Administration: Maintain accurate records, submit reports on time, and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Operations Analysis and Action Tracking: Utilize key performance indicators (KPIs) to track performance, establish effective action plans, and continuously improve operations.
  • Plant Image: Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring compliance with company standards and policies.

Qualification Profile

  • Minimum 3-5 years of supervisory experience in the ready mix industry.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and maintain composure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good computer skills, including proficiency in Word, Excel, and SAP.
  • Self-motivated and customer service-oriented.
