The ideal candidate will have 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in bookkeeping and financial management.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare cheques for payroll, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.
- Prepare general ledgers and financial statements, providing insights into company performance.
- Post journal entries, reconcile accounts, and prepare trial balances.
- Assist with tax returns and other financial reports, ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience in bookkeeping and financial management, preferably in the transportation industry.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A competitive salary of $45,000 per year, based on the current market rate and location.
