Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Room Attendant to join our team at Executive Suites Hotel and Resort Squamish. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our guests' suites are clean, comfortable, and inviting.

Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service to our guests, responding to their needs and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Clean and maintain all assigned suites, including dusting, making beds, removing soiled linen, and replenishing rooms with supplies and inventory.
  • Perform common area cleaning as needed, including vacuuming hallways, stairwells, bathrooms, and pool areas.
  • Sign in and out keys daily and maintain proper usage of cleaning supplies and equipment.
  • Update and record all cleaned rooms and return lost and found articles to the Housekeeping Office.
  • Follow departmental policies and procedures, service standards, and safety and sanitation policies.
  • Report necessary maintenance items and perform other duties as assigned.
Physical Aspects of the Position

The physical aspects of this position include constant standing and walking throughout the shift, frequent lifting and carrying up to 30lbs, and occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs, and ramps.

We are looking for a highly responsible and reliable individual who is able to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team. If you have previous experience as a Room Attendant or in a position requiring some hard physical work and a high standard of guest/customer service, we encourage you to apply.
