Job Summary:

Vail Resorts is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Associate to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our residential units, ensuring a safe and healthy living environment for our residents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service to residents, responding to their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Conduct daily cleaning and maintenance tasks, including dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing common areas and individual units.
  • Deep clean and prepare units for new residents, ensuring a high level of cleanliness and organization.
  • Operate industrial washer and dryer, and sanitize, sort, and fold House linens.
  • Make beds and clean bedrooms for new residents, ensuring a comfortable and welcoming environment.
  • Think critically about cleaning systems and processes, and work with the Lead Hand Cleaner to implement improvements and optimize efficiency.
  • Communicate ideas and suggestions for improving cleaning tools and products, and report any issues or concerns to the Lead Cleaner.
  • Report any damage or maintenance issues in common areas, hallways, lobbies, and lounges.
  • Advise the Lead Hand Cleaner on inventory needs and order supplies as required.
  • Assist other departments as needed, and perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Demonstrate Vail Resorts' core values: Serve Others, Do Right, Drive Value, Do Good, Be Safe, Have Fun.
  • Be physically able to fulfill duties and work four ten-hour days.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds.
  • Ability to work unsupervised.
  • Previous experience preferred, but training will be provided.
  • BC driver's license required.
  • Proof of satisfactory criminal record check.
