About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cook to join our team at Duncan's Lounge Ltd. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to meet the needs of our customers.
  • Train and supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure they are working efficiently and effectively.
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Order supplies and equipment to ensure we have everything we need to deliver exceptional service.
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment to ensure we are operating efficiently.
  • Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
  • Organize buffets and banquets to ensure they are executed to perfection.
  • Manage kitchen operations to ensure we are meeting the needs of our customers.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle heavy loads.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a physically demanding environment.
What We Offer
  • Permanent full-time position.
  • 30 to 44 hours per week.
