About the Job

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Carpenter to join our team at The Crew Construction Ltd. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to construction and building projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare Building Layouts: Use measuring tools to ensure that building layouts are in compliance with building codes.
  • Measure and Cut Materials: Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials.
  • Build Foundations and Install Roof Systems: Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems.
  • Install Windows, Doors, and Stairs: Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware.
  • Survey Building Locations: Survey building locations and levels to ensure accuracy and precision.
  • Train and Mentor Apprentices: Instruct apprentices and provide guidance and support to help them develop their skills.
Work Environment

As a Carpenter at The Crew Construction Ltd., you will work in a fast-paced construction environment with a team of experienced professionals. You will be responsible for ensuring that all construction projects are completed to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in the construction industry.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
