About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team at HOMMEE HOMES LTD. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, repairing, and maintaining residential structures, including homes, apartments, and condominiums.

Key Responsibilities
  • Construction and Repair: Construct, repair, and renovate residential structures, including framing, finishing, and installing fixtures and equipment.
  • Woodworking: Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials composed of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials.
  • Installation and Maintenance: Install and maintain windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware, as well as perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure the integrity of the structure.
  • Quality Control: Inspect and test structures to ensure they meet quality and safety standards.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: 1 year to 2 years of experience in carpentry or a related field.
  • Skills: Proficiency in woodworking, construction, and repair techniques, as well as excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced construction environment, with regular exposure to dust, noise, and physical demands. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required for occasional travel to job sites.
