About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team at The Crew Construction Ltd. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, repairing, and installing structures and fixtures made of wood, wood substitutes, and other materials.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare building layouts and ensure compliance with building codes using measuring tools.
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials to create structures and fixtures.
  • Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems.
  • Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware.
  • Survey building locations and levels to ensure accuracy and safety.
  • Instruct apprentices and provide guidance on best practices and techniques.
Requirements
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in carpentry or a related field.
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor and work at heights.
