">We are seeking a Funeral Services Coordinator to join our team. As a Funeral Services Coordinator, you will be responsible for assisting with the planning and coordination of funeral services. This includes working with client families to understand their memorialization expectations and ensuring that all necessary details are completed.
">Key Responsibilities
">- ">
- Assist with the planning and coordination of funeral services, including collaborating with client families and other stakeholders;">
- Ensure that all necessary documents are completed, including obituaries, death certificates, and burial permits;">
- Participate in the preparation of the deceased, including dressing and casketing;">
- Assist with the transportation of client families and the movement of remains;">
- Work removals/first calls as needed;">
- Identify and remedy all hazards on grounds;">
- Perform other duties as assigned.">
Requirements
">To be successful in this role, you will need:
">- ">
- A four-year degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience;">
- Active attendance or enrollment in a Funeral Director/Embalmer Program;">
- The ability to pass applicable Board exams;">
- A valid state-issued driver's license in good standing and an acceptable driving record;">
- High computer proficiency, particularly in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint);">
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively present information to client families, co-workers, and leadership;">
- A willingness to participate in growing market share through active, personal participation in complimentary, community-based organizations.">
