About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Regional Branch Operations Manager to join our team at RBC Dominion Securities Inc. in Ontario East/West Region.

Job Summary

This is a full-time salaried position that offers a competitive compensation package, including bonuses and flexible benefits. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating day-to-day management, administration, communication, and operational functions supporting the Regional Director.

Main Responsibilities
  • Support the Regional Director in daily administrative duties, generating reports, presentations, meetings, branch visits, and events.
  • Assist senior Wealth Management Canada executives as needed.
  • Provide support to region's managers and branch staff with ad-hoc questions, expense approvals, website approvals, ticket allocations, invoices, escalations.
  • Manage and provide support on regional projects and initiatives, implementing plans, maintaining systems, tracking progress, facilitating communication, and following up on action items.
  • Coordinate and organize regular and one-off meetings, events, and regional conferences, including related materials, bookings, speaker booking, and venue liaison.
  • Create and distribute regional communications and announcements to management team and staff.
  • Lead Regional Performance Committee, review, submit, and communicate quarterly and annual recognition awards, distribute recognition items, congratulatory letters.
  • Review and consolidate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for the Region, including creation, maintenance, and distribution of monthly regional report card and partnering report.
Requirements
  • Completion of the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) and Conduct and Practices Handbook (CPH)
  • Experience working at RBC Dominion Securities or another IIROC investment firm, ideally as a Branch Operations Manager or Associate for 3 or more years.
  • A commitment to excellence, outstanding organizational and communication skills, and the ability to proactively take on tasks and project work.
  • Superb attention to detail, exemplary communication skills, and strong customer service skills.
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Office Suite including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
About You

You must have a strong understanding of business operations and be able to prioritize tasks effectively. A high level of proficiency in Microsoft Office is required, particularly Excel and Word. Experience in supporting senior executives and managing teams is an asset.

Salary Range

The estimated salary range for this role is $90,000 to $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
