We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Ramp Crew Chief to join our team at Unifi Aviation Canada, Inc. As a key member of our ground crew, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our aircraft.
Key Responsibilities- Safety and Compliance
- Ensure the safety of assigned team members and aircraft at all times.
- Conduct thorough pre-operational inspections of equipment and ensure all necessary safety protocols are in place.
- Leadership and Communication
- Lead required crew briefings and communicate process changes and updates to team members.
- Coordinate flight assignments with Dispatch Coordinators, Supervisors, and Duty Managers.
- Operational Efficiency
- Ensure all servicing is completed accurately and efficiently, including baggage and cargo counts.
- Manage the allocation of agents and tasks associated with the operation.
- Reporting and Administration
- Complete and submit all necessary flight paperwork in a timely and accurate manner.
- Ensure all equipment is correctly signed out, fueled, and returned to the appropriate areas at the end of shift.
- Certifications and Qualifications
- Hold a current YYC D/A AVOP.
- Be able to obtain a Radio Operator Certificate.
- Hold a fully cleared Restricted Area Pass (Red Pass).
- Skills and Abilities
- Actively participate in new agent development and provide guidance.
- Actively participate in your own development plans.
- Recognize and action challenges that may arise promptly and efficiently.
- Ability to work shift work, including weekends, AM/PM.
- Must be able to communicate by radio, telephone, etc.
