Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Ramp Crew Chief to join our team at Unifi Aviation Canada, Inc. As a key member of our ground operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient handling of aircraft and passengers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Safety and Compliance
    • Ensure the safety of assigned team members and aircraft at all times.
    • Lead required crew briefings and communicate process changes and updates as necessary.
  • Operational Efficiency
    • Control flight operations, ensuring all servicing is completed accurately and efficiently.
    • Coordinate flight assignments with dispatch coordinators, supervisors, and duty managers.
  • Communication and Teamwork
    • Communicate clearly and professionally with team members, dispatch coordinators, and other stakeholders.
    • Allocate tasks and resources effectively to ensure smooth operations.
  • Equipment and Resource Management
    • Ensure all equipment is correctly signed out, fueled, and returned to the appropriate areas at the end of shift.
    • Complete pre-operational inspections for all equipment used during the shift.
Requirements
  • Certifications and Qualifications
    • Hold a current YYC D/A AVOP certification.
    • Be able to obtain a Radio Operator Certificate.
    • Hold a fully cleared Restricted Area Pass (Red Pass).
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Actively participate in new agent development and provide guidance.
    • Actively participate in your own development plans.
    • Recognize and address challenges promptly and efficiently.
    • Ability to work shift work, including weekends and AM/PM shifts.
