Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Ramp Crew Chief to join our team at Unifi Aviation Canada, Inc. As a key member of our airport operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient handling of aircraft, passengers, and cargo.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of ramp agents to ensure the safe and efficient handling of aircraft, passengers, and cargo.
  • Conduct pre-operational inspections of equipment and ensure that all necessary safety procedures are in place.
  • Coordinate with dispatchers, supervisors, and duty managers to ensure smooth flight operations.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, dispatchers, and other stakeholders to ensure that all necessary information is shared.
  • Ensure that all equipment is properly maintained and signed out to team members.
  • Monitor and report any incidents or safety concerns to leadership.
  • Participate in new agent development and provide guidance and support to team members.
  • Stay up-to-date with company policies and procedures and ensure that team members are aware of any changes.

Requirements

  • Must hold a current YYC D/A AVOP certification.
  • Must be able to obtain a Radio Operator Certificate.
  • Must hold a fully cleared Restricted Area Pass (Red Pass).
  • Ability to work shift work, including weekends and AM/PM shifts.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Knowledge of airport operations and safety procedures.
