Ramp Operations Training Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Training Program Development:
  • Design and implement comprehensive training programs for ramp operations and ground handling procedures.
  • Collaborate with departments to incorporate industry regulations, company policies, and operational procedures into training materials.
Supervision and Leadership:
  • Lead a team of ramp trainers, providing guidance, support, and direction for effective training delivery.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback for continuous improvement.
Training Delivery:
  • Conduct hands-on and classroom training sessions for ground personnel, focusing on safety, efficiency, and compliance with industry standards.
  • Utilize training methods, including simulations, drills, and workshops, to enhance ramp operations staff skills and knowledge.
Documentation and Record-Keeping:
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all training activities, including attendance, assessments, and feedback.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards for training documentation.
Continuous Improvement:
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through regular assessments and feedback mechanisms.
  • Identify areas for improvement and implement enhancements to training content, methods, or materials as needed.
Safety Compliance:
  • Collaborate with safety and compliance teams to integrate safety protocols and procedures into training programs.
  • Monitor and enforce adherence to safety regulations during training sessions and daily operations.
Coordination with Operations:
  • Work closely with operations to align training programs with current operational needs and challenges.
  • Provide input on operational policies and procedures based on training observations and feedback.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in aviation ground operations and training.
  • Strong understanding of aviation regulations and safety standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Leadership experience with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and documentation skills.
