About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Partner Sales Manager to join our team at Amazon Web Services Canada, Inc. in Toronto, ON, CAN. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth and market share in the Financial Services Industry (FSI) vertical.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive account plan to drive revenue growth and market share in the FSI industry vertical.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and partners in the FSI industry vertical.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and product development, to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
  • Develop and deliver compelling value propositions to customers and partners to drive adoption of AWS services.
  • Manage and maintain a robust sales pipeline to ensure consistent revenue growth.
  • Work closely with partners to extend their reach and drive adoption of AWS services.
  • Support partners in developing their solutions through formal AWS APN programs.
  • Ensure customer and partner satisfaction through proactive issue resolution and communication.
  • Provide technical and architectural resources to assist partners in customer engagements and solution delivery.
  • Drive business development initiatives in the FSI industry vertical to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
  • Prepare and present business reviews to senior management teams.
  • Manage AWS funding programs and related contract negotiations.
Requirements
  • 7+ years of technology-related sales or business development experience.
  • 5+ years of direct field experience selling software or cloud solutions to Fortune 1000 accounts.
  • Undergraduate degree (B.Sc, BA, B.Comm, B.Admin or similar) or demonstrated equivalent prior work experience required.
  • Track record of developing sustainable new business within FSI customers, including savings and loan, capital markets, trade, risk, and other FSI operational areas.
  • Extensive customer and partner network within the FSI industry vertical.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • History working at, or in partnership with, a major GSI consulting firm preferred.
  • Experience in FSI-related ISV partnership management/alliance management preferred.
