Strategic Financial Operations Manager

Salary: The estimated salary for this position is $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience.
Job Description: We are seeking a Strategic Financial Operations Manager to join our Financial Reporting & Insights team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supervising the preparation of working paper files, financial statements, corporate and personal tax returns. You will also provide technical and project management leadership skills to team members for Accounting projects and engagements.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise (and complete when necessary) the preparation of working paper files, financial statements, corporate and personal tax returns.
- Provide technical and project management leadership skills to team members for Accounting projects and engagements.
- Assist in the direction and training of staff, reviewing completed files to ensure quality of work.
- Prioritize projects, establish budgets, and assign staff to meet client deadlines.
- Participate in delivering formal project/team performance review and/or giving effective input to reviewers on team members.
- You actively participate in the adoption of digital tools and strategies to drive an innovative workplace.
Requirements:
- 3-4 years of experience with Notice to Readers or Assurance engagements, corporate and personal tax, and compilations.
- Bilingual (English and French).
- Excellent skills in Accounting Software. Familiarity with Sage, QuickBooks, Caseware, Excel, among others, is highly desirable.
