Job Title: Restaurant Host/Hostess

We are seeking a friendly and organized Restaurant Host/Hostess to join our team at DRJ Group Canada INC.

Job Description:

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to multitask, and have a strong attention to detail. As a Restaurant Host/Hostess, you will be responsible for greeting customers, managing reservations, and ensuring a smooth dining experience.

Responsibilities:
  • Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner
  • Answer customer questions regarding menu items and preparation methods
  • Assist clients/guests with special needs
  • Attend to seating arrangements for large groups
  • Greet customers and ensure a warm welcome
  • Perform opening and closing activities, including setting up and cleaning the dining area
  • Receive customer reservations and assign tables
  • Receive payments from customers
  • Respond to customer complaints in a timely and professional manner
Work Environment:

As a Restaurant Host/Hostess, you will work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of customer interaction. You will be required to work under pressure and maintain a positive attitude in a dynamic environment.

Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience an asset
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
