Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Restaurant Host/Hostess to join our team at DRJ Group Canada INC. As a key member of our front-of-house staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner
  • Answer customer questions regarding menu items and preparation methods
  • Assist clients/guests with special needs, such as mobility or dietary requirements
  • Attend to seating arrangements for large groups and ensure timely service
  • Greet customers warmly and make them feel welcome
  • Perform opening and closing activities, including setting up and cleaning the dining area
  • Receive customer reservations and assign tables accordingly
  • Receive payments from customers and process transactions efficiently
  • Respond to customer complaints and concerns in a timely and professional manner
Work Environment

As a Restaurant Host/Hostess, you will work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of customer interaction. You must be able to work under pressure and maintain a positive attitude in a dynamic and ever-changing environment.

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience in the hospitality industry is an asset
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment and provide exceptional customer service
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends
