Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Regional Sales Manager to join our team at Ssab AB. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and revenue in the British Columbia and Alberta regions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve regional sales targets and revenue growth.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, including identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including marketing, product development, and customer service teams, to ensure alignment and effective communication.
  • Stay up-to-date with market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to inform sales strategies and drive business growth.
  • Manage and maintain accurate sales data, including sales forecasts, pipeline management, and sales performance metrics.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3-8+ years of experience in sales, preferably in the steel, mining, industrial, recycling, or maintenance repair industry.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
  • Excellent computer proficiency, including MS Office and CRM software.
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in sales, preferably in the steel, mining, industrial, recycling, or maintenance repair industry, including supervisory experience.
  • Prior attendance at formal sales training courses.

Working Conditions

This role requires frequent travel (85% of the time) to customer sites, with occasional travel to company headquarters.
