About the RoleThis is a permanent position working 40 hours per week. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our kitchen, ensuring that all food is prepared and presented to the highest standards.
Responsibilities- Food Preparation and Presentation: Supervise and manage the preparation and presentation of all menu items, ensuring that they meet the highest standards of quality and presentation.
- Kitchen Operations: Oversee the efficient operation of the kitchen, including the management of staff, inventory, and equipment.
- Staff Management: Supervise and train kitchen staff to ensure that they are equipped to provide exceptional service to our customers.
- Health and Safety: Ensure that all health and safety regulations are adhered to in the kitchen, maintaining a clean and safe working environment for all staff.
- Inventory Management: Manage the ordering and inventory of all food and supplies, ensuring that we have sufficient stock to meet customer demand.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Post-Secondary Education: A college diploma or equivalent experience in culinary arts or a related field.
- Culinary Experience: At least 1 year of experience in a similar role, preferably in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
- Leadership Skills: Proven leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and train staff.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, customers, and suppliers.
We offer a competitive salary of $60,000 per year, based on experience.
