We are seeking a skilled Millwright to join our team at Dufferin Aggregates, a division of CRH Canada. As a Millwright, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain and repair equipment, including belt conveyors, screw conveyors, dust collectors, pumps, pneumatic gates and actuators, compressors, boilers & water heaters, and similar equipment.
- Perform project work, including process and/or continuous improvement, reliability, and participate in annual shut-down teams for overhauls.
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment, including welding, cutting, brazing, and hoisting and rigging.
- Operate hoisting and lifting devices, such as cranes, jacks, and tractors, to position machinery and parts during installation, setup, and repair.
- Perform routine maintenance work, including cleaning, lubricating, and inspecting equipment.
- Valid industrial Millwright License
- Completed Millwright Apprenticeship
- Ability to obtain structural Welding certificate
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to read and follow blueprints, diagrams, schematics, and work procedures
