Job Title: Millwright

We are seeking a skilled Millwright to join our team at Dufferin Aggregates, a division of CRH Canada. As a Millwright, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing equipment, ensuring the smooth operation of our production processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain equipment in proper operating condition through preventative and corrective maintenance.
  • Perform project work, including process and continuous improvement, and participate in annual shut-down teams for overhauls.
  • Troubleshoot and maintain Ready-Mix concrete production equipment, including belt conveyors, screw conveyors, dust collectors, pumps, pneumatic gates and actuators, compressors, boilers, and water heaters.
  • Weld, cut, and braze using different techniques and metals.
  • Operate hoisting and lifting devices, such as cranes, jacks, and tractors, to position machinery and parts during installation, setup, and repair.
  • Perform routine maintenance work on machinery, including cleaning, lubricating, and inspecting.
  • Install, remove, troubleshoot, and repair bucket elevator and conveyor systems.
  • Inspect, troubleshoot, and identify problems with gear drives, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
Requirements:
  • Valid industrial Millwright License.
  • Completed Millwright Apprenticeship.
  • Ability to obtain structural Welding certificate.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to read and follow blueprints, diagrams, schematics, and work procedures.
